In hunting mode, the octopus is a fearsome, carniverous predator, eating fish, seaslugs, mussels and crabs. It is from the cephalopod family. The UK waters house many types of octopus, mainly around Cornwall and the Scilly Isles. This ethereal sea-creature has such beauty, grace and intelligence, which is why I am so enamoured and intrigued by them.
