Did you know that the octopus has arms, not tentacles? These suctioned, lithe extremeties, are used for walking, climbing, building and handling objects. Each contains its own brain which acts independently or can be controlled by the central brain. If severed, the arms can regenerate in a few months. What an amazing animal to be living on in our ocean.
